About

I am a security enthusiast looking to share thoughts and experiences related to the information security industry. I am a former Division 1 college baseball athlete, playing shortstop for my University. With baseball consuming much of my early life, I didn't get addicted to IT and Security until after retiring from baseball. So, you can say that I had a later start in the whole security realm.

My credentials are GIAC Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Tester (GXPN), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), ISC(2) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CompTIA Security+ and CompTIA Network+. I also participate in Kansas City’s hacker hive, SecKC!

In its current state, this blog is a method for me to publish my answers and findings for online security exercises such as "Exploit-Exercises" and "Vulnhub". I will be using this as my way of taking notes and documenting my work as I progress through information security challenges.

Please reach out with any questions regarding getting into Information Security, penetration testing or just IT in general!
